Five years after the events of “Halloween Kills,” we see Laurie and her granddaughter rebuilding their lives in the community and purchasing a home where they can live peacefully. Laurie lost herself in her nursing work and the memories of her and her granddaughter. What they don’t realise is that evil still waits for them, but not in the way they anticipate.
A fantastic opening sequence serves as our introduction. Exceptionally well-shot, with lots of mystery and tension. followed by a movie that has nothing to do with the movies that came before it. For about an hour, we observe the daily lives of our two main characters, their failed romantic relationships, or just how they go shopping. Michael Myers reappears in the hour, but I can assure you that this is not the best representation of him.
